A note from the collector
I didn't put this collection together to flip it — I put it together because these are games that trust you to think. I've always been a sucker for a good puzzle and a good story: the Professor Layton games, the Ace Attorney games (I have never once managed to not yell “Objection!” out loud). My favorite of the whole lot is Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia — a remake that treated a near-forgotten 1992 original with more care than most studios give their flagships. That's the kind of thing I fall for every time: the overlooked one, done right.
So the taste here runs to story-first, puzzle-brained, patient games — the ones that aged well because they respected you in the first place. If you're the type who actually reads the condition notes, we're going to get along. These were played and loved; I'd just rather they land with someone who'll do the same than sit boxed in a closet.
