Nick’s Computer Rescue is an assumed name of nicksosa.tech LLC, based in Center Point, Texas. This notice covers nickscomputerrescue.com and its contact, booking, and payment features.
Information you provide
When you contact us, we receive the name, email address, phone number, and message you choose to provide. Bookings may also include a service address, preferred date and time, and notes. Purchases and gifts may include order details and recipient contact information. We use this information to respond, arrange and deliver services, process orders, and maintain business records. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, or sensitive files through the contact form.
Payments and service providers
Stripe processes payments. Card details are entered through Stripe’s payment components or hosted checkout; we do not store full card numbers or security codes on our server. Contact and booking details can be included in Stripe transaction records. Resend and our email provider deliver and store business correspondence. Vercel hosts this website and may process technical request information, including IP addresses and browser details, to operate and secure the service. These providers process information under their own privacy policies.
Analytics and advertising
This site does not use Google Analytics, X (Twitter) or other advertising pixels, or conversion tracking, and it has no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. Cloudflare, which sits in front of the site, counts page views with its cookie-free Web Analytics on every page except /what-we-see. That count uses the page address, referring page, and browser details from each visit; it sets no cookies, does not build a profile of you, and is not used for advertising.
Browser storage
Shopping-cart contents use this browser’s local storage so your selections persist; clearing browser storage removes them. Stripe’s payment script can load on pages across this site, not only at checkout, and sets Stripe’s own fraud-prevention cookies. We set no cookies of our own.
Use, retention, and requests
We use customer information for service delivery, communication, payment administration, and necessary business, security, and legal records. Records may remain with our payment and email providers as needed for those purposes. You may contact us to ask about your information or request correction or deletion; some transaction or legal records may need to be retained.
